Taste - 4.3 (out of 5)
The Skittles flavor includes the original Skittles flavors: grape, lemon, orange, strawberry, and lime. We all tried our favorite flavor for the test. It tasted very strongly of Skittles at first. If you closed your eyes you’d think you had a genuine Skittle in your mouth, but with a gum texture. They really nailed the flavor perfectly. Of course they did, because Mars own Skittles!
Flavor Duration - 3.0 (out of 5)
Our team recorded an average duration of 6.8 minutes. The flavor was very strong at the beginning so it was easy to tell when the flavor dropped below our “50% of the flavor is gone” threshold.
Texture - 3.7 (out of 5)
The texture is pretty normal in the world of bubblegums, but a little on the soft side, as you’d expect with a Hubba Bubba gum.
Bubble Blowing Ability - 2.0 (out of 5)
We couldn’t get much of a bubble out of this gum, mostly because of the small serving size of a little over 2 grams. Getting a bubble out of any 2 grams of gum is tough. The whole time it was in my mouth I wanted to add another piece. Rules are rules, so we an official score of 2.0 is what we got for bubble size.
Conclusion
Hubba Bubba Mini Skittles flavor is a fantastic gum if you love the flavor of Skittles and love gum. As a bonus, there is no sugar, so it’s a way to enjoy the flavor of Skittles guilt-free. You won’t get a huge bubble out of this gum, but you will likely love the flavor and find yourself popping more and more into your mouth until a rainbow of flavor materializes.
