Background
Airheads Gum was introduced by Perfetti Van Melle in 2017, the same dudes and dudettes behind Mentos and Chupa Chups. The company has dual headquarters in Italy and the Netherlands.
Airheads gum is a sugar-free chewing gum that features the same fruity flavors as the popular Airheads taffy. Since this is a chewing gum and not explicitly a bubble gum, we did not review the bubble blowing ability.
Micro-Candies!
This gum includes “micro-candies,” but in our experience you have to use your imagination to detect them, so they must truly be micro.

Our Review
As always, we tested a standard serving size, according to the package. In this case, that was 2.5g, or one stick.
Taste - 4.0 out of 5.0
The taste is great. It’s one of the “paradise blends” and it will give you a feeling of sipping on a raspberry lemonade on a lounge chair. The intensity of the flavor will catch your attention in those first few chews…maybe it’s the micro-candies at work.
Flavor Duration - 4.0 out of 5.0
The duration of flavor is pretty solid. We averaged about 10 and a half minutes, which equates to a 4 out of 5. Not bad at all.
Texture - 4.0 out of 5.0
A little on the soft side, but overall this gum has a nice texture. Aside from softness and hardness, an astute tongue will detect those micro-candies in the opening bites.
Bubble Blowing Ability - N/A out of 5.0
Bubble blowing ability was not officially tested, since this gum is not marketed as a bubble gum; however, between you and me you’ll be able to blow some small bubbles with Airheads gum.
Conclusion
Overall, this is a fun chewing gum with an intense opening flavor. It will remind you of a summer lemonade drink and airheads, which is a nice combination. Plus, no sugar!

I cannot comment on the bubble-blowing ability because I have never been able to blow bubbles! However, I can say that it reminds me of many gums marketed on their intense flavor profile. The flavor is great at the start but quickly fades. I can imagine that it can be rather tempting to constantly put a new piece in your mouth to enjoy the burst at the beginning!
