Our Marukawa Fusen Grape Review

Three Bubble Bunch testers tried the grape, and the texture verdict was unanimous: all three said Just Right. That kind of agreement is rare. For a gum this small, landing three-for-three on texture is genuinely impressive.

Taste averaged 4.67 out of 5. One tester was not subtle about it: “GREAT FLAVOR and it lasts a decent amount of time too! Blows great bubbles too! This gum is awesome!” Another kept it simple: “Nice flavor.” The third: “Great texture. Average bubbles. Nice flavor!” Three testers, three positive verdicts.

The one honest note is the serving size, which is the same caveat that applies to every Marukawa flavor. One tester wrote “Small serving. Short lasting,” and that’s fair. You get four marble pieces. Flavor ran 6.5 to 9 minutes across the three testers, which is decent but not long.

Bubbles ranged from ping pong to softball, with tennis ball in the middle. Same story as the other Marukawa flavors: the gum can blow, the serving size is the limiting factor.
