Big League Chew - Original 5.0 texture

Few gums are as fun as Big League Chew. Pitcher Rob Nelson invented it in the late 1970s as a wholesome answer to the chewing tobacco baseball players spat back then: shredded bubble gum in a stay-fresh pouch, just like a tobacco pouch. The gum more than holds up. Our testers raved about the classic flavor that lasts a long time and a soft, perfect texture that won't stick to your face. The serving runs small, but double it up and you can blow some massive bubbles. Several of us call it a top-three gum.

    Marukawa Orange 5.0 texture

Fantastic flavored gum from Japan. One of the highest rated gums in terms of taste and the texture is just right. You won't get huge bubbles, but that's ok because you'll be happy with all the other attributes of this exotic gum.

Bubble Yum - Original 5.0 texture

Bubble Yum is a titan of the bubble gum world, we'd give it a place on the Mt. Rushmore of bubble gums. As the first "soft" bubble gum, it rose to fame in the mid-1970s and still holds up: great taste, a perfect soft texture, and solid bubbles. We just wish the flavor lasted a little longer.

    Bubbaloo - platano/banana 5.0 texture

Bubbaloo is famous for being the first gum with a liquid center, and the thrill of those first few bites, where the banana flavor gushes out, is pretty epic. We just wish the flavor lasted longer, and you won't get huge bubbles from the standard serving.

Marukawa Fusen - Peach 5.0 texture

Like other Marukawa gums, this one tastes good, offers great texture, and doesn't last as long as you'd hope.

    Marukawa Original 5.0 texture

Marukawa has been rolling out these little marble gum pieces from Nagoya, Japan since 1947. That's nearly 80 years of bubble gum. The Original flavor lands somewhere familiar but a little different: classic bubble gum taste with a subtle Japanese twist that the Bubble Bunch dug. The downside is the size. These pieces are tiny, and getting a serious bubble going takes some effort. Worth trying for the novelty. Just don't come in expecting competition-grade bubbles.

Hubba Bubba Max - Original 4.6 texture

Hubba Bubba is one of the modern classic "soft" bubble gums. All-around it's a great choice, solid flavor, texture, bubble-blowing ability, and even flavor duration. The coolest feature is that it won't stick to your face.
