Our Marukawa Fusen Peach Review

Bubble Bunch testers tried the peach, and they agreed on this one in many areas: Just Right texture, tennis ball bubbles, 4 out of 5 on taste. It was a pretty clear consensus across the whole scorecard.

The peach flavor is a Japanese peach flavor, which is worth noting. Think white peach candy, slightly floral, not the syrupy yellow peach you’d find in American candy. It’s a distinct style, and it tasted great. One tester put it simply: “4 and a half for flavor.” The scale only goes to 5 in whole numbers, so 4 was the official score, but that half-point acknowledgment says something.

Duration ran 6.4 to 9 minutes. The usual Marukawa caveat: four marble pieces is not much gum, so a marathon chew is not on the table. For pocket candy, though, it’s respectable.
